Meanwhile, take Morgan and a few units, then grab the treasure near the outpost. Train some more settlers too, and you'll need some houses as well to support all the units you have going. Also use your Settlers to build an Artillery Foundry, and produce 10 Hoop Throwers.

Morgan still is feeling bloodthirsty, so he excitedly orders his men to follow him… and while they're at it, they bring a commandeered Bombard.Ĭreate as many Crossbowmen as you can, but pepper in a few Pikemen too. They exchange a few heated words, but Sahin leaves without protest or aggression from Morgan.Ī little later, Alain appears and informs Morgan that pockets of Ottoman have been found to the east. Morgan wants to hunt down any surviving Ottoman, and he winds up finding Sahin. For now, just click the Continue button to move on. With those crushed, you win the map.Īfterwards, you get to visit your home city, but you can't do anything in it yet. Once they enter your fort, they are in your control order them all to head forward and lay waste to the Bombards. After a few seconds, a horde of Cavalry will come from the top of the map, led by the commander of the Knights of St. With the signal flare lit, the Settlers should return to their tree-chopping duties. Once the small unit is dead, send your Crossbowmen back to the fort. The Ottoman will see this and send in a small unit to try to kill the settlers, but your Crossbowmen that you created earlier should be able to defend them. Settlers, who are diligently working in the upper-right corner, need to head over there and collect the wood surrounding it to light it. Morgan realizes that he needs to call in the reinforcements, and a torch appears in the upper-left corner of the map. No matter how effective you are, you will eventually be overwhelmed when the Ottoman bring Bombards (giant cannons). Once Morgan is finished, tell him to return to the base to help with the defense. Collecting all of them will clear a bonus objective, which is always helpful. Those Xs mark treasure spots, and only Morgan can collect them. Keep your eyes on your minimap, and look for any white X. Have Morgan exit the fort through the left gate and circle it counterclockwise. Now you can you can simply press that number key to bring him up. Meanwhile, locate your Morgan Black unit, and give him his own team number (hold Control and press one of your number keys). (That is, for every four Crossbowmen you produce, you should be producing one Pikeman.) Make this easier on yourself by holding the Shift key when selecting a unit to produce, as you'll make five at a time. Then, in your front two Barracks, start producing Crossbowmen and Pikemen at a rate of about 4 to 1. Now, on the back two Barracks, start by upgrading your Crossbowmen and your Pikemen. This sets a rally point so any troops produced will head there, and they'll automatically engage the enemy.

Double-click one of your Barracks to select them all, then right-click near the gate in the wall. You can sort of use this to your advantage. Now, for whatever reason, all the soldiers (ally and Ottoman) can shoot through your walls. You've got a decent supply of resources, and simply must produce as many soldiers as you can. Another tip i recommend is to build lookout towers around the outskirts of your city to spot the siege units before they can do any real damage. The primary objective here is to simply defend your base. It will provide protection and distraction while they work to get rid of the houses. Some tips that will help is instead of walls you can use a line of houses to block off any areas you want them not to come through. Once the wonder is built in your city your only goal is to defend it for the 200 years and you will win. The castles will wipe out any infantry units that red or purple sends but you will need to make some infantry to destroy the siege units they send against you. Once you get enough just keep constructing castles in your city with a couple around the wonder and the other 3 spread along the borders of the city. Then start farming resources and focus on collecting all the stone inside your base. To start off you should garrison some of the crossbowmen and slingers inside town centers to protect from the scouts and occasional attackers at the beginning.
